THE NEW BRAND
A popular and successful company producing honey and honey products has applied for services
to restart and create a new brand. The following tasks were set before us:
- create a new catchy name;
- develop a visual identity;
- repackage the existing product lines (more than 65 items);
- launch a new website and an online store.
According to the results of analytics of previous marketing decisions, we found that in addition to product quality,
the brand has a strong family background and the history of several generations of beekeepers,
which previously were not disclosed and did not reach the consumers.
The project to restart the brand's marketing positioning was decided to start directly with honey,
and then switch to other products:
- as of December 2019, the brand, identity has been fully developed, the mission and history are formulated, packaging for 30 types of honey is created and produced;
- at the development stage (first quarter of 2020), packaging of all other products and the launch of a website with an online store.
CONCEPTS
To reflect the identity of the brand, its sincerity and traditions
the main character of the rebranding was the boy Anton, loving bees, caring for apiaries and collecting honey.
The brand has acquired its face.
The character was developed based on children's photos of the founder of the company and bears his name.
SKETCHES
After approving the character's appearance, work began on a common visual language for brand packaging.
Using as the basis of the brand an individual approach to the process of honey production and manual labor,
illustrators created sketches of future packages for honey.
FINAL PRODUCT LABELS
In the final version, the style of illustration combines recognizable features of Soviet posters with colors and
the general "naive" and "fragrant" style of French Provence.
For each product, a unique label has been developed with story art associated with the product itself.
Each art was hand-painted by an illustrator without the use of modern graphic editors in order to convey the brand's sincerity and sincerity as much as possible.
THE FIRST PRODUCT SAMPLES
As a new package, we decided to use classic jars with golden lids which are familiar to everyone since childhood.
They also appear in the illustrations of the labels.
Such packaging is in perfect harmony with the developed brand identity and the brand concept itself.
VIDEO ABOUT THE HONEY COLLECTION
In addition, a short video about the process of manual collection of honey in Russian apiaries was shot for posting on a future web site.
The video has a deliberately simple style, emphasizing the concept of manual labor and an individual approach to the product.
